Our opinion
Chalet Lavender is a traditional chalet in a peaceful setting, the ideal mountain escape. The chalet has been very-well looked after, with beautifully-maintained gardens backing onto the forest. Although only 3 bedrooms at present, it would be very easy to add 1 or 2 more bedrooms, or a separate apartment, by converting the ground floor space.

Location
Chalet Lavender is at the top of Route des Gens, rising up from Les Houches village centre and backing onto nature/hiking trails. It is about a 15-minute walk (3-minute drive) into the village with a Carrefour supermarket, bakery, shops and bar/restaurants. Chamonix is a 10-minute drive and the Les Houches ski area a 5-minute drive away.
